Just finished my 3rd yr in college, one more to go. It was a great year, learned a lot, worked hard, slacked off at times, but had lots of fun! Thanks to all of those that made this year so great!

Also, I'd like to thanks for all the comments, favs and watches. I really try my best to reply to all of the comments. As always, feel free to send me a note if you have questions, I really enjoy hearing from people.

I'll be updating my blog a lot more during the summer than DA with sketchbook pages, studies, etc! Feel free to follow my blogspot, there'll be lots more stuff there.

Summer's been pretty lazy for me, haven't really done as much as I had hoped.  

First of all I'd like to thank everyone who came and dropped by my table at AN or AX, I only started going to conventions last year and so far they have been great experiences. I have one last convention this summer and i'll be at FanExpo 2012 in Toronto with my buddy Tim Melnyk (who doesn't have dA -_-) he paint's rocks and landscapes and cool stuff so drop by! I'll have some of my original art and fan art there.

Also, since school is starting, I gotta start working on a portfolio since I have to look for an internship next summer. This means I won't have as much time to do fan art : ( but I will continue to upload characters/environments/illustrations and maybe some sketches.

Lastly, I'd like to start doing commissions in the short future for the extra money to pay for school, tools, food, mostly food...etc . I'll have more information on that shortly.

Within the past month, I've had 100 hours worth of undocumented life-drawing pads thrown out, my hard-drive stop running, and my tablet die. I KNOWWW RIGHT!?!

It is a sign from the art gods to do less digi painting and do some serious serious sketching and concept work.

Hey everyone out there. I'd like to wish you all a Happy New Year and want to thank you all for the continuing support! I greatly appreciate all of your comments and favs, it justifies the time I put into my paintings haha.

2011 was probably one of the most memorable years of my life, so many things happened. I met amazing people, went amazing places, learned almost nothing in school, but school and the people at school have taught me so much about myself as a person and has also taught me so much about other people haha. I do not regret anything though, everything happens for a reason and I am SOOO happy that I got to experience all of this bs so early in my life because now I can focus on stuff that matters - like my artwork and my supportive friends.

Cheers to a 2012 full of growth, happiness and creativity.

Anime North 2011 was my first anime convention and it was quite the enjoyable experience.
Although it was a bit flaky initially and exhausting, it quickly became one of coolest experiences of my summer.
It was such a pleasure to be able to meet new people, see some old friends and see other artists' styles and artwork!

First year of school is over, now I can actually start learning. Hahahaha.
